President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping in Akorda who arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit, Kazinform reports.
In honor of the visit of China President, a guard of honor was lined up in the hall of solemn ceremonies. Later, the Presidential Orchestra performed the national anthems of the two countries. After listening to the anthems, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping walked along the carpet to the state flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and afterwards the heads of the two states headed to meeting room.
The leaders of Kazakhstan and China will discuss the prospects for strengthening the comprehensive Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership. As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
Xi Jinping also announced his readiness to continue the tradition of Chinese-Kazakh relations and open up new opportunities in his article.
