
Kazakh football club Kairat, currently competing in the UEFA Champions League group stage, will face Cypriot side Pafos tonight, reports BasSport.kz.
The match will take place at the Central Stadium in Almaty, with kickoff scheduled for 21:45 (Astana time).
Under head coach Rafael Urazbakhtin, Kairat suffered two heavy defeats in the group stage so far — a 1:4 loss away to Sporting CP in Portugal, followed by a 0:5 home defeat against Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Pafos began their campaign with a draw against Olympiacos in Greece, then lost 1:5 at home to Bayern Munich.
The Kairat vs. Pafos match will be broadcast live on the national TV channel Qazaqstan.
As part of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Kairat will also face Arsenal, Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Copenhagen, and Olympiacos later in the tournament.
