Iraqi President arrives in Azerbaijan

President of Iraq Abdul Latif Jemal Rashid arrived on Wednesday, March 1 in Azerbaijan.

At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the state flags of the two countries fluttered, a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.

Rashid was met by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev and other officials.

The President of Iraq will take part on March 2 in Baku in the summit of the Contact Group of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to combat COVID-19.
