Iranian President to Make Official Visit to Tajikistan

In the coming weeks, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is set to embark on a working visit to Tajikistan.

This announcement was made by Rustam Emomali, Mayor of Dushanbe and Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan, through social media.

According to him, the visit will include meetings between the leaders of the two countries and high-level negotiations.

It is worth noting that on July 30, 2024, Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon visited Tehran on a working trip. Subsequently, on August 10, a visa-free regime was established between Tajikistan and Iran for holders of regular passports.

This marks Pezeshkian’s first official visit to Tajikistan.
