According to a statement from the EU, the festival, themed “The Ideal Red Apple,” aims to support the art of cinema in Turkic states while strengthening historical awareness and cultural ties.
Expected to attract numerous directors and screenwriters from the Turkic world, the festival will feature competitions in categories such as “Documentary Film,” “Animation,” and “Feature Film.”
Applicants can submit their entries via the official website www.turanfilmfestival.com until April 15, 2024.
The International Turan Film Festival is scheduled to take place at the EU campus on May 2-3.
