International Akhal-Teke Horse Competition Begins in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan has launched an international beauty competition for Akhal-Teke horses, held in honor of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has announced that an international Akhal-Teke horse competition will take place on April 26 in the city of Arkadag as part of the celebrations.

Additionally, the decree includes plans to hold an art competition featuring painters, sculptors, carpet weavers, jewelers, photographers, print artists, designers, and TV operators. Participants will be invited to artistically portray the beauty of the Akhal-Teke horses.

It’s worth noting that last year, Turkmenistan allocated 701 million tenge to preserve and increase the population of this native horse breed.
