The International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM.QAZAQSTAN, which was held for the first time in Astana from September 25 to 27, concluded with over 10,000 visitors, TuraNews.kz reports.
The key event of the business program was the main plenary session “Industrial Strategies of the New Time,” which featured the heads of government of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan.
Over 400 companies from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, and Russia presented national expositions at the exhibition, which covered an area of over 12,000 square meters. The pavilions featured goods produced in the fields of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemical and light industry, construction industry, and pharmaceuticals.
A number of specialized sessions were also held during INNOPROM.QAZAQSTAN on topics such as digitalization of industry, cooperation in mechanical engineering, technologies for large cities, technologies for energy, and international cooperation. Memorandums and cooperation agreements were signed between the companies of the participating countries.
On the final day of the exhibition, an educational program “New Personnel for a New Industry” was held, which included round tables, business games, discussions, and a job fair. More than 200 students took part in the educational day program.
At the same time, an industrial tour took place around the largest industrial sites and enterprises of Astana, with over 100 participants.
