Hungarian PM Viktor Orban Honored with “Highest Order of the Turkic World”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was awarded the "Highest Order of the Turkic World" at the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) summit, recognizing his role in strengthening ties with Turkic nations.

The summit, hosted in Bishkek, brought together the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, as well as Orban. Under the theme “Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future, and Security for All,” leaders discussed key initiatives to foster unity and collaboration.

Orban’s award highlighted his “significant contribution to strengthening the unity of the Turkic world.” Hungary, an observer member of the OTS alongside Turkmenistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has actively sought stronger ties with Turkic countries, supporting projects and shared objectives within the organization.
