How long can you stay in Kazakhstan without a visa?
From January 27, the change on the rule of residence without visa regime came into force in Kazakhstan.
Now citizens of Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states, namely Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Armenia, will be unable to stay in Kazakhstan for more than 90 days within any 180-day period. For other foreigners who can visit Kazakhstan without a visa, the period of legal stay in the country will be no more than 30 days from the moment of crossing the border and no more than 90 days in total within six months.
This restriction does not apply to those who have a temporary residence permit.
“The permitted period of stay of immigrants in the Republic of Kazakhstan for immigrants who arrived in the country in a manner that does not require a visa, it ends after 30 calendar days from the date of crossing the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Total permitted period of stay is a total of 90 calendar days during each period of 180 calendar days.
The permitted period of stay for citizens of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union ends after 90 calendar days from the date of crossing the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan and total permitted period of stay is a total of 90 calendar days during each period of 180 days.” the document says.
