High-Mountain Lake in Kyrgyzstan Overflows, 160 People Evacuated
In Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul region, the high-mountain lake Zyndan overflowed due to heavy rains, causing the Ton river's water levels to rise.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyz Republic reported that the overflow occurred near the village of Tuura-Suu in the Ton district. As a safety precaution, authorities evacuated 90 people from Tuura-Suu and 70 residents living near a fish factory. The evacuees were relocated to nearby settlements, including Eshperov and Ak-Sai.
