Heavy rains kill 13 in Tajikistan

The rains caused flooding and mudslides, which swept away homes and vehicles. The victims included 8 children and 5 adults.

President Emomali Rahmon expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. He also instructed the Prime Minister of the country and the responsible government agencies to provide assistance to the families of the victims, as well as to take urgent measures to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster.

The government has dispatched emergency teams to the affected areas to help with rescue and relief efforts. The teams are providing food, water, and shelter to those who have been displaced by the floods.
