Grisly Discovery: Skeletal Remains of Over 10 Individuals Unearthed Under Moscow Restaurant

The skeletal remains of more than 10 people have been uncovered during excavation activities in the 1st Setunsky passage in the western part of Moscow, TuraNews.kz reports with reference to the TASS agency.

According to an informant cited by the agency, the discovery was made while excavating and dismantling underground structures at the site of a former restaurant in the 1st Setunsky passage. The exact circumstances surrounding the presence of the remains are currently under investigation.

The capital’s prosecutor’s office has disclosed that the remains, which include 10 skulls and a minimum of 10 skull fragments, were found at a depth of 3.5 meters. The supervisory agency’s press service has provided preliminary information, suggesting that the estimated age of death for the individuals is approximately 20-30 years.

A comprehensive inquiry is currently underway, led by investigators who are diligently examining the circumstances surrounding the discovery. The Nikulinsky Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office is overseeing the progress and results of the procedural check, ensuring a thorough investigation into this unsettling find beneath the Moscow restaurant.
