Gold prices have reached an all-time high, exceeding $4,400 per troy ounce for the first time ever, according to data from the Comex exchange, Kazinform reports.
During the December 18 trading session, February gold futures climbed to $4,407.7 per ounce. Since the beginning of the year, gold has gained more than 65%.
Silver also recently broke its historical record. Silver futures for March 2026 delivery surpassed $67 per ounce, marking a year-to-date increase of more than 126%.
Earlier in October, both gold and silver had already reached record-breaking highs.
