Gennady Golovkin Expresses Gratitude to President Tokayev for Trust
In a recent meeting held on February 29, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan met with Gennady Golovkin, the head of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, President Tokayev highlighted several key priorities for the upcoming work of the NOC, emphasizing the importance of fostering trusting and effective relationships within the International Olympic Committee. He expressed confidence in Golovkin’s professionalism and extensive experience, believing they will contribute significantly to addressing pressing issues in the development of Olympic sports in Kazakhstan.
In response, Golovkin expressed his appreciation to President Tokayev for the trust and support bestowed upon him. He conveyed his commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of the NOC, particularly for the new Olympic cycle. Golovkin assured that he and his team are fully aware of the tasks ahead, with clear plans in place for implementation.
“On behalf of myself and my team, I’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the trust and support we’ve received from the Head of State. We’re fully committed to working tirelessly to elevate Kazakhstan’s reputation in the global sports community, cultivate robust relationships with international sports organizations, and validate the confidence vested in us by the President,” Golovkin wrote on his Instagram account.
