Gaza Receives First Airdrop of Humanitarian Aid in Three Months
As of October 7, 2024, one year has passed since the onset of relentless attacks by Israel on the Gaza Strip. Massive shelling from land, sea, and air has led to extensive destruction and significant material damage in the enclave.
For the first time since mid-July, humanitarian aid containers were dropped in the Gaza Strip, according to eyewitnesses who spoke to Anadolu. The airdrop occurred in the city of Khan Yunus in southern Gaza and was conducted by unidentified aircraft.
Unfortunately, some of the boxes landed on tents housing displaced Palestinians, resulting in casualties.
