Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 23,000 in Ongoing Israeli Offensive
The Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to at least 23,084, with 58,926 others injured since October 7 in the midst of continuing Israeli attacks, TuraNews.kz reports.
In the last 24 hours alone, 249 people were killed, and 510 others were injured in the relentless Israeli onslaught.
The ongoing conflict began with Hamas’ surprise cross-border attack on October 7, resulting in an estimated 1,200 Israeli casualties. The consequences for Gaza have been devastating, with 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure damaged or destroyed. Additionally, nearly 2 million residents have been displaced, facing acute shortages of food, clean water, and medicines due to the enduring blockade.
