Four Earthquakes Recorded in Georgia in a Single Day
On Sunday, four earthquakes were recorded in Georgia, with all epicenters located in the Racha-Lechkhumi region, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Center's website.
The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.8, occurred in the morning, 9 kilometers from the city of Oni. The second quake, magnitude 4.7, struck two hours later, 10 kilometers from Oni. The third and fourth earthquakes, with magnitudes of 4.4 and 3.3 respectively, were recorded in the afternoon, 7 and 12 kilometers from Oni.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
