The incident took place in the resort area of Kusadasi, in the city of Aydin, as reported by the Türkiye newspaper.
The 50-year-old Mammadov had been vacationing in Kusadasi for three days with his wife, Kemal Mammadova, and their son. On Tuesday morning, after having breakfast together, Mammadov and his family returned to their hotel room to rest. A short while later, his wife and son left for a walk. Upon returning, they found Mammadov lying unresponsive on the floor.
Emergency services and police were immediately dispatched to the hotel. Medical personnel confirmed Mammadov’s death upon examination. The exact cause of his death will be determined following an autopsy.
