The first Cultural Center of Kyrgyzstan was opened in Paris. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The center was opened with the support of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in France.
«The Cultural Center will coordinate actions for the constant exchange of experience, ideas and plans between representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, as well as holding regular thematic meetings, in particular, various exhibitions and conferences dedicated to anniversaries and significant events in Kyrgyzstan,» the statement says.
Ambassador Sadyk Sher-Niyaz noted that the center would contribute to the introduction and strengthening of the Kyrgyz culture in France, as well as attracting interest in the rich history and art.
Much attention, according to him, will also be paid to the implementation of various projects and programs aimed at developing cultural and humanitarian Kyrgyz-French relations.
