The caravan’s journey along the Trans-Caspian corridor took 10 days, covering a distance of 4,800 kilometers. It passed through eight regions of Kazakhstan before arriving at the port of Kuryk.
“A cargo caravan and a container train from China have arrived at the ports of Aktau and Kuryk. They are now being sent to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and European countries. This marks the revival of the Great Silk Road. The caravan is ready to depart,” said Altai Ali, Chairman of the Transport Committee, via video link from the port of Kuryk.
