Export of Kyrgyz ice cream increased by 40%

Last year, exports of domestically produced ice cream increased by 40%. Such data are provided in the report of the National Statistical Committee on foreign and mutual trade of the Kyrgyz Republic for 11 months of 2022.

The main importer of Kyrgyz ice creams and popsicles is Kazakhstan, having purchased 99.5% of the total supply last year and 99.1% in 2021. In 2021, Kazakh importers purchased 3.5 thousand tons of ice cream from domestic producers, and in 2022 – 40% more, 4.9 thousand tons.

At the same time, the import of ice cream from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan also increased by 10%, while to Russia, on the contrary, it decreased by 2 times.
