A survey conducted across 189 regions of the country showed that 69.8% of participants in the referendum supported the idea of building a nuclear plant. A total of 283,519 people took part in the poll, with 30.2% opposing the project.
The Institute of Eurasian Integration also released its exit poll results. In their survey, which included 30,546 participants from 250 polling stations nationwide, 71.8% of respondents were in favor of the NPP construction, while 28.2% were against it.
The Public Policy Institute conducted its own poll at 300 polling stations, where 44,000 citizens were surveyed. According to their data, 72.3% of respondents supported the construction of the nuclear power plant, while 27.2% opposed it.
