Evacuated Turkish Citizens from Gaza Safely Return to Istanbul

In response to the persistent Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, Turkish citizens and their family members who were evacuated from the region have safely arrived in Istanbul, TuraNews.kz reports citing TRT.

On the early morning of Monday, a Turkish Airlines plane transported 142 Turkish citizens who had crossed the border from Gaza into Egypt via the Rafah border crossing. The flight, originating from Cairo International Airport, touched down at Istanbul Airport.

Representatives from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials from the Turkish Disaster Management Authority (AFAD) were present at the airport to welcome and assist the evacuees.”
