European Commission: Kazakhstan is one of the safest countries to fly

This is how the European Commission described the safety of Kazakhstan’s airspace and passenger transport. The statement on this issue was made at a meeting with the Kazakhstan civil aviation delegation and representatives of the European Commission and the European Flight Safety Agency in Brussels.

Representatives of the European Commission reported that any European flights of Kazakhstani airlines are not subject to restrictions. It was stated that while the European civil aviation regulation model, which has been implemented in Kazakhstan since 2019, has gained the appreciation of foreign experts. The studies in the fields of airworthiness, flight operation, air personnel licensing, and flight safety management still continue and the European Commission expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive support on related issues.
