During the phone call, the two leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as regional and global issues, according to Azertag.
President Erdoğan emphasized that cooperation between their countries will continue to develop across all areas based on the principle of “One Nation, Two States.” He stated that Türkiye fully supports the establishment of lasting peace in the South Caucasus region and will always stand by Azerbaijan.
In turn, President Ilham Aliyev highlighted that Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations, based on brotherhood, friendship, and strategic partnership, are growing under the “One Nation, Two States” principle, emphasizing that their countries have always stood side by side.
During the conversation, the two presidents also discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in 2025 and touched on the continuation of contacts.
