Earthquake recorded in Tajikistan

An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was recorded in Tajikistan on Saturday morning, September 17, 2023. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 668 km southwest of Almaty, Kazakhstan. This was reported by the Network of seismic stations “SOME” of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 25 km and was not felt in any major cities. There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
