Earthquake of Magnitude 4.7 Recorded in Türkiye
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 was recorded in Türkiye, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The seismic event occurred on April 13 in the northern part of the country, approximately 50 kilometers south of the city of Samsun. The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Türkiye’s authorities have released preliminary information regarding the quake. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure. However, local officials and emergency services are closely monitoring the situation.
Experts note that the quake is a natural consequence of Türkiye’s position in an active tectonic zone, particularly in the eastern and northern regions, where seismic activity is frequent.
