Earthquake of magnitude 3 occurred in Uzbekistan, on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

An earthquake of magnitude 3 was registered at the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan today, September 9, at 09:41.

According to the Kabar agency with reference to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded 10 kilometers southwest of the village of Kok-Tash, 21 kilometers west of the village of Bulak-Bashi and 35 kilometers southwest of the city of Batken.

In populated areas of Kyrgyzstan, the magnitude of the tremors was 2.5 points in the village of Kok-Tash and 2 points in the village of Bulak-Bashi.
