Drug Lab Organizer with $1 Million Worth of Drugs Detained in Uzbekistan

Law enforcement in Uzbekistan has detained a man responsible for operating two drug labs, where nearly 14.8 kg of synthetic drugs worth approximately $1 million were seized.

The bust was part of a joint operation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service, as reported by Uzbekistan 24 TV channel.

The labs were discovered in two separate locations—an apartment in a multi-story building in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent and a house in the Tashkent region. During the raid, authorities found synthetic drugs along with various equipment such as containers, scales, and gas masks.

The first lab contained 4.8 kg of drugs, while the second held 9.995 kg, totaling 14.795 kg. An examination confirmed that the substances were synthetic drugs, which could be divided into 40,000 doses.

The operation marks a significant blow to illegal drug production in the region.
