Donald Trump Secures Second Term in the White House

Former President Donald Trump has clinched a second term in the White House, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in a highly anticipated election.

With the latest vote counts, Trump surpassed the required 270 electoral votes, securing 277 in total, as reported by Fox News. Harris received 226 electoral votes, according to the network. House Speaker Mike Johnson also confirmed Trump’s victory.

Trump first won the presidency in 2016, defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with his “make America great again” slogan. Although he lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Trump launched a nearly two-year campaign to return to office in 2024, once again championing his promise to “make America great again.”
