The ITF M15 tournament series recently concluded in Antalya, Türkiye, with Kazakh tennis player Dmitry Popko (504 ATP) emerging victorious in the singles category and this marks Popko’s second title of the season, TuraNews.kz reports.

In the final showdown, Popko faced off against Uzbekistan’s Sergey Fomin (728 ATP). The Kazakh claimed the first set with a score of 6:4 but conceded the second set with a score of 3:6. The decisive third game saw Dmitry Popko clinch a convincing victory with a scoreline of 6:2.

Dmitry Popko now boasts an impressive tally of 27 victories in International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournaments, comprising 21 singles titles and 6 doubles titles.

This success follows Grigory Lomakin’s triumph in the ITF tournament series in Egypt, showcasing the continued achievements of Kazakh tennis players on the international stage.
