According to Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Diyarbakir Express has been highlighted in Time’s list, which features destinations known for providing thrilling and engaging experiences.
Time magazine describes the train journey as a unique experience, noting that it will transport passengers from the expansive Anatolian plains and the eastern mountains of Türkiye to the northern plains of Mesopotamia, often referred to as the cradle of civilization. The magazine also emphasizes the historical and cultural wealth of the region accessible via this scenic route.
