World-renowned Kazakh singer and People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Kudaibergen has been appointed honorary professor at the Kazakh National Medical University named after Sanjar Asfendiyarov.
University Rector Marat Shoranov presented the honorary title to Dimash in recognition of his contributions to cultural development, youth education, and promoting Kazakhstan’s international image.
During the event, Dimash shared insights into his life and career, explaining how he stayed connected to national culture while performing on global stages.
“I value a person first for their spiritual richness. Talent and professional skills come next. Without an inner foundation, any achievement loses its significance,” he said.
Dimash performed together with the university’s student ensemble of national instruments, «Dala Sazy», presenting the traditional piece «Adai». He also wished students success in their upcoming exams.
