Death Toll in Gaza Reaches 43,712 Amid Ongoing Israeli Strikes
The number of casualties in Gaza due to ongoing Israeli strikes has risen to 43,712, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
In the past 24 hours alone, 47 people were reported dead, and 182 others injured in what were described as “seven mass killings” across various parts of Gaza.
Since the escalation of violence began on October 7, 2023, thousands have lost their lives, and the total injured now stands at 103,258. Rescue workers report that bodies still remain trapped under rubble and along roadsides, with ambulances and civil defense teams struggling to access these areas due to obstructions from Israeli forces.
The Ministry of Health continues to report that, with ongoing challenges and limited access for emergency teams, the true scope of the devastation remains difficult to determine.
