Death Toll in Gaza Climbs to Over 37,000 in 250 Days of Israeli Attacks

The death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza has reached 37,202 over the past 250 days, with recent shelling in the last 24 hours alone resulting in 38 deaths and 100 injuries.

Since October 7, 2023, continuous military actions by Israel on the Gaza Strip have caused significant casualties. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, three major incidents in the past day have led to 38 Palestinian deaths and over 100 injuries.

The total number of people injured in Gaza due to Israeli shelling over the 250-day period has risen to 84,932.

Efforts to retrieve bodies from under the rubble and roadsides have been hindered by obstructions from Israeli forces, making it difficult for ambulance and civil defense teams to reach the victims.

The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of genocide and demanded an immediate halt to the attacks, particularly in Rafah. Since May 6, the Israeli military has intensified its ground offensive in Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians have sought refuge.

The prolonged Israeli attacks have devastated large parts of Gaza, leaving residents struggling with severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine due to the blockade.
