The Ministry’s website released a statement indicating that the analysis of the rubble is still underway as rescue efforts persist.
The statement revealed grim statistics, with a total of 285 individuals injured in the attack, including 8 children. Among the injured, 133 individuals, including 3 children, succumbed to their injuries.
This updated figure contrasts with the previous report from the Ministry of Health, which had cited 147 casualties.
Efforts to clear the debris at the site of the incident are ongoing, with rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations intensifying their operations. Overnight, heavy machinery was deployed to aid in the clearance process, with 91 cubic meters of rubble already dismantled.
