Dagestan Resident Travels 24 Hours to Deliver 50 Thousand Bags to Atyrau
Omaraskhab Akhmedov, a resident of Dagestan, embarked on a 24-hour journey to transport 50 thousand bags to the Atyrau region.
Moved by reports of floods in Kazakhstan and a shortage of bags for essential bank protection work in the region bordering Russia, Akhmedov swiftly decided to offer assistance.
“At 2 o’clock in the morning, I asked a friend to open his warehouse where he stored the bags, loaded them into my cargo van, and set off for Atyrau through the Astrakhan region. I drove all night to reach here,” recounted Omaraskhab Akhmedov.
Upon his arrival, Akhmedov plans to connect with acquaintances and friends who are also gathering humanitarian aid for the people of Atyrau.
“When I learned of the dire situation faced by our brothers and sisters, I felt compelled to take action,” expressed the compassionate individual.
It’s worth mentioning that ethnic Kazakhs residing in the Astrakhan region are actively involved in collecting humanitarian aid. In the coming days, they intend to dispatch the gathered cargo to Atyrau to extend support during these challenging times.
