Consultations on “Central Asia – China” Secretariat Held in Xi’an

Consultations on the operation of the “Central Asia – China” Secretariat were conducted in Xi’an, attended by diplomats from Central Asian countries and China.

The delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, led by Yergalym Nursalimuly, Director of the Department of the Asia-Pacific Region, participated in the 4th round of talks.

The discussions focused on advancing multilateral cooperation and reviewing the Secretariat’s founding documents. The Secretariat was officially launched on March 30, 2024.

During the event, a meeting was held with Chen Chunjiang, Vice-Governor of Shaanxi Province, to discuss future interactions within this framework.

The talks were held in a friendly and professional atmosphere.
