Competition Launched for Kazakhstan’s Olympic Team Uniform Design for 2024 Games
The uniforms encompass attire for both ceremonial occasions and practice sessions. A dedicated committee will assess the entries submitted during the competition and reach a consensus decision.
An open call has been issued for proposals to design the uniforms for Kazakhstan’s Olympic team at the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, reports TuraNews.kz agency, citing the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Sports Development Directorate of the Committee for Physical Culture Affairs will oversee the competition, with all submissions being evaluated by a special commission. This commission includes representatives from various sports organizations, media outlets, and renowned athletes such as Eldos Smetov, Serik Sapiev, Azamat Dauletbekov, and others. Erlan Estek, the director of the Sports Development Directorate, serves as the commission’s chairman.
The competition will unfold in two stages. The first stage involves the acceptance and review of applications and materials by the commission, open from February 28 to March 10, 2024. Following this, the second stage will determine the competition’s winner, with results announced between March 13 and 15, 2024.
Erzhan Omirzakovich Askarov, head of the public procurement department of the Sports Development Directorate, is responsible for managing the competition’s proceedings and providing necessary guidance.
