Collapse at Turkish Gold Mine Leaves 9 Workers Missing

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has reported a collapse at a gold mine in the eastern province of Erzincan.

The incident, which occurred in the Ilic region, has resulted in 9 workers being trapped under rubble, according to provincial governor Hamza Aydogdu.

A search and rescue operation involving 400 individuals is currently underway at the mine site. Minister Yerlikaya has confirmed that a census was conducted at the mine, revealing the missing workers. In response to the situation, a judicial investigation has been initiated.
