Organized by the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF), the Baku City Ring Operating Company, and Dreamland Golf Club, with Nazar Holding as the main sponsor, the event showcased a stunning collection of vintage cars.
The rally began with a display of registered classic vehicles, including some from the permanent exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev Center. Held in the Seaside National Park, this procession featured cars manufactured before 1984, with the oldest being a 1929 Mercedes Benz Gazelle. These rare vehicles evoked a strong sense of nostalgia among attendees.
Prominent figures such as Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Anar Alakbarov, President of the Automobile Federation of Azerbaijan, and Eldar Azizov, Head of the Baku City Executive Authority, attended the event. Celebrities and local residents also joined the gathering, which saw the classic cars parade through Baku’s central streets, offering a unique visual treat reminiscent of scenes from old films.
The rally route covered Seaside National Park, Neftchilar Avenue, White City, and Heydar Aliyev Center, concluding at the Dreamland Golf Club. Upon arrival, an exhibition of these classic cars was held, allowing enthusiasts to take photos and explore the history behind each vehicle.
Awards were given out in several categories, including “The Oldest Car,” “The Most Unique Car,” and “The Most Colorful Outfit.” The event concluded with a concert featuring well-known Azerbaijani performers such as Aysel, Dilyara Kazimova, Khayyam Nisanov, Elnur and Nigar, and others.
This event, which captivated both car enthusiasts and the general public, is part of Azerbaijan’s growing motorsports culture, with the Automobile Federation of Azerbaijan playing a leading role in promoting the industry.
