CIS Economic Council Meeting to Be Held in Tashkent

On April 28, the capital of Uzbekistan will host a meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The decision was announced during a recent meeting of the Economic Issues Commission in Moscow, where a comprehensive plan proposed by Uzbekistan was reviewed.

The CIS member states aim to strengthen cooperation in attracting mutual investments until 2030. The plan outlines measures to improve the investment climate and implement joint projects to attract foreign capital into member countries’ economies.

The comprehensive plan is expected to be approved at the upcoming CIS Economic Council meeting in Tashkent.
