Chinese Vice Premier to Visit Kazakhstan for 11th Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee Meeting

The Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Ding Xuexiang, is set to visit Kazakhstan to participate in the 11th meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee. This was announced by Mao Ning, the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, during a recent briefing, TuraNews.kz reports citing Kazinform agency.

Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, is scheduled to visit both Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan from November 26 to 30. His visit aims to participate in the 11th meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee and the 6th meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee.

Established in 2004, the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation Committee holds regular meetings co-chaired by the deputy heads of government from both nations. The committee’s 10th meeting took place via videoconference in November 2021. This upcoming visit underlines the ongoing commitment to strengthen bilateral ties between Kazakhstan and China.
