China Commences Nationwide Effort to Stop Trafficking in Women and Children
China has initiated a special nationwide campaign to stop the kidnapping and trafficking of women and children, extending until the end of 2024.
This announcement came from the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China on Tuesday.
Authorities at all levels are mandated to actively engage, organize, and execute appropriate actions to combat crimes associated with the abduction and trafficking of women and children, in strict adherence to the law.
The ministry emphasized the importance of swiftly investigating and resolving new cases, clearing existing backlogs, dismantling criminal networks, and rescuing abducted women and children. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and protection of vulnerable individuals across the country.
