Bolat Nazarbayev Passes Away at 70
In a recent development, Bolat Nazarbayev, aged 70, has passed away. The cessation of cardiac activity, known as asystole, occurred at 9:28, with resuscitation efforts lasting 23 minutes, ultimately proving ineffective, as reported by sources to Ratel.kz.
Nazarbayev’s background includes graduating from the Agricultural College in Shamalgan, specializing in mechanics, and obtaining a jurisprudence degree from the Law Institute in Karaganda. His professional journey encompassed roles as a mechanic, deputy director of the Shamalgan state farm, and involvement in entrepreneurial ventures, particularly in the trade of small cattle skins. Additionally, he served as the vice-president of Inkar Agro LLP.
In 2016, Nazarbayev established the charitable organization “Salikaly Urpak.”
Media reports in July 2022 disclosed Nazarbayev’s diagnosis of laryngeal cancer, further complicated by hospital-acquired pneumonia, thrombosis, and diabetes. Subsequent reports on November 4 highlighted his serious and unstable condition, indicating hospitalization due to a second heart attack.
