Belarus to close Embassy in Slovakia

The Belarusian government has decided to close its embassy in Slovakia, according to a resolution of the Council of Ministers published on the National Legal Internet Portal, Turanews.kz reports.

The resolution, which was adopted on September 8, 2023, states that the embassy must be closed by December 1, 2023.

Last month, the Belarusian Embassy in Slovakia reported on Facebook that from September 1 of this year, Belarusian citizens who are consularly registered with the diplomatic mission will be transferred to consular registration at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Austria.
