Azerbaijan’s Shusha City Hosts Second Global Media Forum
Global Media Forum Tackles Disinformation in Shusha.
The second Global Media Forum is currently underway in the city of Shusha, focusing on the critical issue of combating disinformation. The three-day event, which kicked off on July 20, has brought together over 150 international guests, including representatives from nearly 50 countries and numerous media organizations.
The forum aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among global media professionals in addressing the challenges posed by false information. Panel discussions will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, building a disinformation-resistant world, the societal impact of fake news, and the media’s role in climate action.
This year’s event follows the success of the first Shusha Global Media Forum held in 2023, which centered on the theme of “New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.”
