Azerbaijan is gearing up for early presidential elections, as announced by President Ilham Aliyev, TuraNews.kz reports.
The decision, outlined in a decree signed on Thursday and published on the official website of the president, establishes February 7, 2024, as the date for early voting. President Aliyev has directed the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan to oversee the organization and conduct of the upcoming elections.
