According to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport, under the 2007 Agreement on International Road Transport between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, carriers from both countries are exempt from such fees. Transport companies are only required to pay for using toll roads. No additional charges are applicable.
