Astana Cycling Team Bids Farewell to Alexey Lutsenko
The Astana cycling team officially announced that Alexey Lutsenko will be leaving the team after more than ten years of service.
The 31-year-old Kazakh rider will now compete for Israel’s Premier Tech team, having signed a contract through the end of 2026, according to BasSport.kz.
Lutsenko has been with Astana since 2013, securing 43 victories, including stage wins at the Tour de France and Vuelta a España. He also triumphed in the Oman Cycling Tour twice and earned multiple titles at prestigious events like the Arctic Race of Norway and the Tour of Hainan.
The team expressed their gratitude for his contributions and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
